Kaffir limes are the citrus fruit grown on the kaffir lime tree (Citrus lystrix). They are also known as makrut limes. The fruit is small, green, and round with a bumpy skin and they generally grow to 2 inches. It has a fresh scent and is often used to decorate houses and cars. People also use it as an offering to worship.
