Chasmanthium

Inland sea oats is a low-maintenance shade grass that is popular for its attractive seedheads. It grows blue-green leaves in spring and can reach a height of 2 feet by May. The translucent green seedheads sway in the breeze and turn ivory by mid-summer, then brown before falling off. The seed stalks are great for flower arrangements.
