Zamia

Zamia is a genus of cycad plants with palm-like leaves arranged in a rosette. They have a slow growth rate, develop a woody trunk, and can reach varying heights. Zamias are dioecious, producing seed cones in females and pollen cones in males. They are tolerant of different growing conditions and are valued for their tropical appearance. Some zamia species contain toxic compounds.
