Euphorbia

Euphorbia poissonii, native to northern Nigeria, is a toxic succulent used by local farmers for its latex as a natural pesticide. Recognized for its potent irritant properties, it serves as a fencing plant, deterring intruders. Among the Berom people, it's known as pyùlúp and is transplanted to compounds for protection against witchcraft. Caution is advised due to its highly irritant nature.
