Cycas, also known as sago palm or king sago palm, is a tropical and subtropical plant with palm-like appearance. It has a woody trunk and a rosette of feathery, fern-like leaves. Cycas plants prefer bright, indirect light and moderate to high humidity. Water them when the top inch of soil is dry, and use well-draining soil. They are slow-growing and require occasional pruning to remove dead leaves.
